We were recently contacted by a former Firearm Legal Defence policy holder “John”. He informed us that his family was attacked by an agitated neighbor. John fired a warning shot in the air. City police arrived on the scene within minutes. The police attacked and shot John, several times during his arrest. A police dog also assisted in the arrest.

John faces charges of unsafe storage, unsafe discharge and a firearm prohibition charge. More charges are expected. The person who attacked his family was not arrested.

John’s Firearm Legal Defence policy expired a few years ago. Money was tight. He put off paying $95 to renew his policy and thinking, “it can’t happen to me”.

It did happen to him and it can happen to you. John will not have the benefit of Firearm Legal Defence lawyers representing him. He does not have the money required for his legal costs estimated to be in excess of $100,000. His guns have been taken, he has injuries from being shot and he was in jail almost 2 weeks awaiting bail.
